Long before 4x4s, the camel was the only way to cross the Arabian sands. Our camel trekking experience focuses on heritage rather than adrenaline. Small groups, well-cared-for animals and a knowledgeable Emirati guide who can share the history of the trade routes that built early Dubai.

Safety
Camels are led by an experienced handler at walking pace. We use padded saddles and limit ride duration to keep the animals fresh.
Child policy
Children 5+ welcome and can ride with a parent.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
Dress code
Long trousers recommended for comfort on the saddle. Closed-toe shoes.

Location
All our desert tours operate in the Lahbab desert (also known as the "red dunes") approximately 60 km south-east of Dubai. The drive from central Dubai takes 45–60 minutes depending on traffic.

How are the camels treated?
We work with a registered local handler whose camels are stabled at a licensed farm in Lahbab. Rides are limited and the animals rotate days off.
