How much does a Desert Safari Dubai tour cost?
Group evening safaris start from AED 30 per adult. Morning and sunrise tours start at AED 130, overnight at AED 140, VIP and private from AED 175, quad bike combos from AED 205. All prices include hotel pickup and applicable taxes.
What's the best time of year to do a desert safari?
October to April is peak season — 20–30°C, comfortable evenings, clear skies. May to September is hotter (35–45°C) but tours still run, and you'll often find lower prices and smaller groups.
Where does the safari take place?
All of our tours run in the Lahbab desert, the famous 'red dunes' about 60 km south-east of Dubai. The drive from your hotel takes around 45–60 minutes.
Is the dune bashing safe?
Yes. Our 4x4s are fitted with safety harnesses, drivers hold UAE Desert Driving Permits, and the fleet is serviced every 5,000 km. Tell your guide if you prefer a gentler ride and they will adjust.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes — free door-to-door pickup is included from any Dubai hotel, residence or holiday home. Pickup from Sharjah, Ajman or Abu Dhabi can be arranged for a small surcharge.
Are vegetarian, vegan and halal meals available?
Yes. The BBQ buffet always includes a wide vegetarian section, and our chefs prepare vegan and gluten-free options on request. All meat is halal.
Can pregnant women or guests with back problems join?
We do not recommend dune bashing during pregnancy or for guests with serious back, neck or heart conditions. A camp-only transfer that skips the off-road section is available — let us know at booking.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose clothing in breathable fabrics. Closed-toe shoes are best for sandboarding. Bring a light jacket from November to February.
Is alcohol available at the camp?
Yes, most camps have a cash bar serving beer, wine and select spirits. Alcohol is not included in the standard package.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup on most tours (48 hours for overnight and Hummer, 72 hours for VIP). Reschedules are free of charge subject to availability.
Do you accept card payment?
You can pay in cash on the day or by card via a secure link we send by WhatsApp at booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
What if it rains?
Desert rain is rare. If a tour is cancelled by us due to weather, you get a full refund or a free reschedule.
