A short camel ride at the Bedouin camp is included with every evening and morning safari — and for the calm, cinematic version, a 45-minute sunrise trek across the dunes.
Every evening, morning, VIP and family safari includes a complimentary 10-minute camel ride at the Bedouin camp. A handler leads the camel at walking pace on a marked dune loop — perfect for photos and a first taste of desert travel. You mount from a low platform, so there's no jumping on or off.
For a longer, quieter experience, book the sunrise camel trek. You leave your hotel before dawn, arrive at the dunes as the sun rises, and ride for 45 minutes through soft light and empty sand — no engines, no crowds. Arabic breakfast at a private camp is included on the way back.
Yes — this matters to us. All camels are owned by long-established local Bedouin families and are inspected by Dubai Municipality vets. They work short shifts (usually 4 hours) with long rest and feeding periods, and are never made to run or carry oversized loads.
If a camel looks tired or is limping, don't ride it — tell your guide and we'll switch you to another one at no cost.
